Mark Derek...closing in on 500 shows as a solo act (May 24, 2009)Mark Derek has recently topped more than 450 shows as a solo act and it is increasingly likely he will reach a milestone of 500 performances by the end of this year. Mark grew up backstage and from an early age would often tour and perform with his father Jon Derek and various well-established bands. In recent years though, Mark has been performing as a self-contained solo act.
